Caring for wool

All toys from Kazabe toys workshop are made of 100% natural sheep's wool by dry felting method. For some parts, wet felting technique can be used.

I try to make toys and accessories that will suit everyone, anyway, there are some things to remember:

Children toys

Toys designed for children are, first of all, durable. They won't have any small parts that could easily come off. Natural wool also contributes to the sensory aspect. If you or your child are not allergic to wool, the toy will be a perfect gift which will not only give your child many hours of engaged play but also gladden your heart!

If the toy gets dirty, it can be washed in the washing machine in a separate washing bag. Select the woolens or delicate cycle on the washing machine (approx. 30 minutes), and make sure the water temperature doesn't exceed 30 °C. After washing, curved handles/legs/tails/ears must be straightened manually and dried at room temperature or on a heater.

Interior toys

Interior toys are characterized by a variety of tiny details. Eyes and noses are made of polymer clay, painted by hand with acrylic paints and varnished. The wire frame gives mobility to the elements of the toy (within reasonable limits, of course). The product could be decorated with eyelashes or whiskers and also can be tinted.

These toys require careful handling. It is necessary to protect them from dust and moth, like any other woolen product. Only dry cleaning is allowed. You must not wash them in the washing machine! The author is not responsible for the improper use of the product. Keep away from small children and pets.

Accessories: brooches and pendants

Brooches and pendants can vary in both size and complexity. The brooches are fastened with a modern Safe Lock mount with protection against accidental opening. In pendants I usually use cords of different colors from natural and synthetic leather. Details can be discussed before ordering the item.

The care of the product will depend on its complexity and details.

Lifehacks

I advise you to store a lavender sachet next to the interior toy to protect it from moth.

If your woolen product has become a little loose, you can simply brush it with a comb or a toothbrush and then trim the extra hair with scissors. In more serious cases you can contact me. I will restore your woolen friend!
